Tack And Tacking up

Tack:
The first thing you need to know about your pony or horse is what your horse wears, why,  and how you put it on. Once you are an expert, you can offer to help out at your stables.
Bridle:
A bridle fits over your horses head and allows you to control and guide him. A well trained horse or pony only needs a simple bridle with a snaffle bit and cavesson noseband.
Bits:
1. Loose-Ring Snaffle, you can spot one by its circles at the ends.
2. Eggbutt Snaffle, you can spot one by its ovals at the ends.
3. D-ring Snaffle, you can spot one by its D shape ends.
4. Snaffle with cheeks, you can spot one by the points at the cheeks
(If you do not get 4. look up Snaffle with cheeks online)
Nosebands:
The cavesson noseband is a basic type of noseband. Two other common kinds are the flash and drop nosebands. These stop the horse from opening his or her mouth but i don't like them so much but it keeps the horse under control. (if you want to see it just look it up online)
Martingales and neckstraps:
the Martingales is used to stop a strong wild horse or pony from throwing up his head while you are riding, witch can be quite painful if you get socked on the nose. You can hold on to the neck strap of the martingale if you are new to riding or you horse decides to go on a mad dash.

Tacking up:
Bridle:
First take your reins and put it over the horses head on to the neck then you take the bit in to the horses mouth and pull it up to the horses ears.
Taking off the bridle:
